About Power of Love Ministry
Every year we give back to the less fortunate in two ways: The first of these takes place at Christmas time, where we partner up with various businesses and organizations to raise money for gifts, so that our children may enjoy the season and realize that there are people who still care for them. The second is done through our annual event called ‘Toronto’s Hunger’ which is co-sponsored by Morning Star Music Group. Here we gather Toronto’s ‘hungriest artists in concert, and require a small food item as part of our admission. Our many attendees help us to raise the targeted barrels of food which we give to the homeless. It is essentially Toronto’s Holy Hip-Hop event of the year. I believe many churches have needlessly complicated the scriptures, potentially introducing more harm than good into our communities. My goal is to reverse this. Every second Sunday of the month, I speak at Power of Love Ministry with a simplified common sense approach. I try to offer new perspectives and ideas to helps us improve the quality of our daily lives. If you are in the Greater Toronto Area, I welcome you to worship with us. Jesus teaches us that ‘Love’ is the greatest commandment of all. He reminds us to love our God, love our neighbors, love our enemies and of course, love ourselves. It is the only word that can be used as a noun, adjective or verb. This is why I decided to commit to this particular ministry. Power of Love Ministry is one that practices both the faith and the works.
