Or picture this: your close friend insists on pursuing a path for which he is not naturally gifted, and he is facing much ridicule from others whenever he tries to showcase his skills. On the other hand, there are areas where he shows a clear and great talent, but he seems to want to ignore these in favor of the path less travelled Do you a)encourage him to keep at it and hope that he improves? or b) tell him he sucks and try to push him in the direction that would appear to bring a greater reward?
