It was Gods grace that gave us our talents, whether we choose to use it to glorify Him is up to us. There is no law that says that "secular sounding" music, using 808 drums and heavy bass is a worldly or non-Christian thing. I must admit that a lot of these Christian artists who have a "secular sound" to them aren't the same as typical praise & worship..but that's why we have different styles of Christian music..there's a time for Hillsong when you want to enter in his presents and a time when you want to lean back in your ride, turn the bass up and crank some Cajo. Now....what did bother me about "Money Green" by Canton Jones is him using the word "faggot" and "niggas"..I am a huge Cajo fan and I admit I was shocked to hear him use those offensive words. I'm not judging and he's a man and man makes mistakes..I just feel that he should have left those offensive terms out of his music. I actually made a mixtape and included this song but edited those 2 words. I will continue to support him and God is still working on him just like you and I. But there does seem to be a flaunting with it too...i don't know.
